Dyne Eifertsen - Trombone: Dr. Dyne Eifertsen is a performer, educator, clinician, and composer. He
earned a bachelor of music degree in trombone performance from Berklee
College of Music in Boston, a master of music degree in trombone performance
from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a Doctor of Musical
Arts degree form the University of Washington. Among his trombone teachers
have been Phil Wilson, Tom Plsek, David Sporny, and Don Immel. Eifertsen
began teaching music in 1994 and has taught all levels from elementary to
university. He is freelance musician and member of the Sacramento music
group Kairos Quartet that recently released its latest CD, riverrun. Dyne is
currently Director of Instrumental Jazz Studies at American River College in
Sacramento .
